An Intimate Wedding for Michael and Stephanie Harrison in my wedding pavilion:

First, the August 10, 2008, wedding of Michael and Stephanie Harrison, an active duty U.S. Air Force couple. He made arrangements with me for the ceremony while he was still on duty (via cell phone and email) in the Middle East.

She flew to Washington from her duty station in Oklahoma to meet him here as he returned .They bought their marriage license here that day and three days later we held their ceremony in our wedding pavilion.

His parents, who drove over from Montana, and some U.S.A.F. friends at McChord Air Force Base were here to witness the event and help film it for me. The video also is posted on YouTube.com.

A Soldier's Wedding for Justin Perala and Andrea Dixon, also in my pavilion:

The groom, Justin, is scheduled to deploy to the Middle East this fall. He and his bride are from central Washington and their families were able to join us for the wedding. We actually did the ceremony twice;  first, with the soldiers wearing their ''battle rattle' field uniforms . . . and a second one in their Class A uniforms.. Their families enjoyed the double event.  The best part, however, was that wonderful grin on the face of a very happy groom. Be safe guys!
